What’s in store
The work isn’t over.
A New president doesn’t mean complacency.
We’re continuing to push for Black justice and uplift others’ stories, because when the dust is settled from the events of the past, we’re still here, whether or not the world is ready for change.
In 2021 we strive to create space for meeting at the same table where we can connect to share ideas, create a policy advisory board, and open channels for discussion. We achieve these goals through in-person community events (like marches), equity training events, active social media-driven groups, a regular newsletter, and continuing education on a regular basis that is open to the public. We plan to host a debate series to allow individuals on either side of an issue speak on their beliefs in a controlled, respectful forum.
By helping place political candidates and community leaders in positions of power, we know that just and innovative, community-forward laws can be passed.
Our Culture
We work hard and we have fun. Our core team is a family. Our value of Respect means that we don’t allow each other to get pulled down into negativity, especially because this work is hard and there is so far to go. Our value of Prosperity means we support each other succeed in to workplace, as well as in our personal endeavors. We hang out a lot. Nobody works for anyone else- we all work together. We like to drink ciders after work, watch movies, and go on hikes.
